Stacey Swetz
Stacey has been in the hairdressing business for 18 years. In 1990,she started as an apprentice for a master hair stylist and colorist,
Cindy Serrino, who is also a member of the Hairdressing Guild. After a year anda half of intense hands-on training, Stacey earned a chair of her own and developed her own unique style over the
next 4 years. After moving on, Stacey worked in several smaller salons in Scarsdale, NY whose prime clientele were children. Stacey was instrumental in the success of this salon which
grew to offer a full service selection of hair styling, color and foiling services.
Stacey became their top hair designer and is well-known today in the Scarsdale area. After eleven successful years there, Stacey started a successful at-homehair business (by referrals only) which
she still manages today while she finishes her Masters degree program in advanced education. Stacey joined the Cutting Edge Crew and always gives her audience a dynamic and energetic demonstration..

Joanne Spano - Miss Jo
Joanne has over 30 years in the Cosmetology industry. She is a Master Stylist and Color Specialist with an expertise in short hair.
Former owner of a successful Westchester Salon, she is currently the Director of a Dutchess County Cosmetology School. Well known in education as "MISS JO", she is an alumni of the University of the
State of NY, where she earned a NYS Education Department of Cosmetology School Director's License and a Full Cosmetology Teaching License.
She is a member of the Cosmetology Educators Association, and has been honored to have been chosen to judge many Cosmetology competitions. She is proud to have educated hundreds of students on a beginning level, as well as many stylists on an advanced salon level. She eagerly joined the CUTTING EDGE CREW to educate stylist of all levels to properly identify and use the correct blades and tools needed to achieve their own personal cutting techniques and styles.

Frank Pate - The Cutting Edge Advantage (Owner)
Frank Pate began sharpening 35 years ago with his father in a basement home business that grew to specialize in servicing commercial equipment
and cutting tools. After graduating high school, he went on to earn his Engineering Degree and was hired by IBM working on high profile projects such as the Space Shuttle, B1 Bomber, and several military
projects. Transferring to Fishill, NY, he began working on commercial computers. All the while, Frank continued working part time with his father and soon began purchasing machines of his own. Frank
began to receive calls concerning salon scissor sharpening. It was quickly apparent that salon scissor servicing would require specialized training and equipment. Frank found Sharpline Scissor Company in Australia
and began working with the Owner and Master Bladesmith, Adrian Schlemmer. After intensive training on scissor manufacturing practices, Frank purchased the same equipment used by the manufacturer to service scissors.
Frank also carriers the full line of Sharpline Premium Scissors and has become the exclusive East Coast Distributor for North America. Frank teamed up with Miss Jo and Stacey and started The Cutting Edge
Crew with the goal of Training apprentice and Senior hair stylists in recognizing quality hand made 2 peice designed scissors and the importance of
selecting the proper scissor required to perform a particular cutting technique.
