Warranties and conditions
The Cutting Edge is proud to be the East Coast Supplier of quality hairdressing scissors and shears designed by Sharpline Scissors Ptd of Autralia. Our entire scissor inventory are designed to last and are designed for sharpening. The Cutting Edge started business as sharpeners in 1982, that is why we hold all good quality serviceable scissors in high regard. We've been in the industry a long time and we are here to stay. We hope to be servicing scissors for decades to come.

Lifetime guarantee - We only sell scissors that are two piece welded and hand made using the highest quality alloys. We do not sell any one piece scissors or cheap alloy scissors. Our Sharpline brand uses high quality parts and all our scissors are guaranteed free of faulty workmanship for life. The Cutting Edge guarantees to replace all worn parts free of charge for life during normal servicing. Sharpline guarantees a minimum of 5 factory quality services available for all our scissors (some of our scissors can be serviced up to twenty times under the right conditions) All Cutting Edge dealers have access to factory quality servicing, not only for our brands but for all quality hairdressing scissors.

Lifetime corrosion free guarantee - Sharpline Stellas and Nic Cobalt models only. Sharpline and Nic manufactures a range of high Cobalt based alloy scissors. These scissors are designed for high corrosion resistance as well as high wear resistance. The Cutting Edge guarantees all NIC and Stella models free of blade corrosion for life under normal hairdressing conditions.

30 day drop warranty - All Cutting Edge scissors are sold with a 30 drop warranty. This means if your new scissor is accidentally damaged during normal use, we will service it for you at no charge during the first 30 days. We provide this warranty to make absolutely sure you are happy with the performance of your new scissor, and to give you peace of mind.

Return policy - We know that sometimes hairdressers can make a mistake in choosing the wrong size or style of scissor. The Cutting Edge offers a 7 day exchange policy on new scissors with the condition that the scissor is returned undamaged and in original packaging. We will exchange for another scissor of similar price or will credit you towards the purchase of a more expensive pair. We do not provide refunds for any reason, we only offer exchange. Postage and handling fees in both directions are at the buyers cost. Exchange is only offered once per purchase.

Conditions - Guarantees for the scissors we sell are subject to servicing by Cutting Edge authorised service agents only. Any Cutting Edge purchased Scissors serviced by an unauthorised company is immediately void of all guarantees. Scissors that have been poorly maintained, miss-used or over worn before servicing may also void their guarantees. The Bladesmith's decision on all such matters is final.
